  3. What if I do not receive a message I am expecting?
  4. What if I receive an authorization e-mail for my own e-mail address?
  1. How do I setup my white-list?
  2. How do I add mailing lists to my white-list?
  1. How do I check the mail queue?
  2. Why would I want to check the mail queue?
  1. Log onto your account at www.ctitech.com
Check the box labeled Spam Protector for the e-mail address you would
like to protect. Follow the links in your greeting e-mail to start your white
list or browse your mail queue.

  2. The Spam Protector will begin working immediately.
  1. CTI's Spam Protector verifies that mail being delivered to you is coming
from a human, not a computer sending automated e-mail.

  2. E-mail messages that have not been delivered to you are kept in your
mail queue. Only you can access your mail queue. If you are expecting to
receive an automated e-mail such as an online purchase, mailing lists, etc.,
you can check your mail queue and select "Forward" for the message you
want. You can also select "Add to White-list" if you would like to always
    receive this mail.

  3. The message will be in your mail queue. Messages in the queue are stored
for 7 days. You can select messages in the queue to be forwarded one time,
or add the address to your white-list for future delivery.

  4. This will happen if a sender uses your e-mail address as their return
address. this is common for spam messages. You should not authorize the
message, or put your own address in your white-list.
  1. Log onto your account at www.ctitech.com or follow the link in the greeting
e-mail to access the white-list. To add someone simply type their address in
the box under the white-list and click "Add to white-list".

  2. Since most mailing lists use complex return addresses, you can use the
wildcard (%) to allow combinations of e-mail addresses, such as %@ctitech.com
to allow all addresses at a particular domain, or email%@ctitech.com to allow
any address starting with the word e-mail at the domain ctitech.com
  1. You can log onto your account at www.ctitech.com, or follow the link in
    the greeting email.

  2. You would check the mail queue if you are expecting a message from
an address that is not on your white-list. This happens most often when you
do not know the address of the sender, such as online purchases, mailing
    lists, etc.
